Feedback - New Homes off Station Lane, Chandler's Ford

Overview

We’re asking for your views on plans for a new apprtment building on land off Station Lane, Chandler's Ford. This soon to be vacant, brownfield site is a suitable location for new homes, that are much needed in the area.

We want your views on how this site could be developed. What do you like or dislike about the early proposals? Your feedback will help shape homes that work for new residents and the existing community.

Why your views matter

Our proposals include:

  • 32 new homes, including:
    • 16 1-bedroom apartments
    • 16 2-bedroom apartments
    • New resident car parking
    • A mix of affordable and market homes for rent
  • Meeting a 10% Biodiversity Net Gain - a requirement to leave nature better than before and help local wildlife and meet
  • The development will include adequate parking to reduce on-street parking and prevent overspill into neighbouring streets.

Homes are badly needed – and we want to make sure this development works for new and existing residents.

We know local services are under pressure, and we’ll share how we plan to manage these challenges. Your views will help shape the next steps.
