The Local Plan Review will identify how much development we need in the next twenty years and where it should go. It will also include policies to protect the environment, respond to climate change, and ensure high-quality design to create places that meet community needs.

As the first stage in the Local Plan Review, we asked your views on the key issues and options for the future. We produced a main consultation document with questions about how the Borough should grow to 2044. This document, along with a summary and supporting documents, is available online at: www.eastleigh.gov.uk/localplanreview.

The consultation on this stage of the Local Plan closed on Wednesday 29 January 2025. We are now considering all the comments received.
