On-street electric vehicle charging points

Closed 31 Aug 2020

Overview

The Government has set 2035 as the date when new petrol or diesel cars can no longer be sold.

Electric Vehicles are set to take over from these traditional engines, but they will need to be charged and many people will not have access to off-street parking and their own charging point.

Eastleigh Borough Council is looking to install charging points around the Borough and would like some indication of where the need is going to be.

If you already have an electric vehicle or are thinking about purchasing one in the next few years, please help us by completing this short survey.

The results will help support us with grant applications and also Hampshire County Council with their on-street charger programme.
